About Knightsbridge Medical Centre

At Knightsbridge Medical Centre, we provide general practice care with a strong focus on prevention, improving quality of life, and supporting your long-term health and wellbeing.

We provide a broad range of general practice services including preventative care, treatment of common diseases, minor surgery, and mental health. The independent contractors take the time to understand your individual needs and work with you to achieve the best possible health outcomes.

We value continuity of care and are proud to support the health and wellbeing of our local community across Castle Hill, Glenhaven, Dural, Galston, Cherrybrook, and Kellyville, caring for patients at every stage of life.

We are a RACGP training practice with GP registrars joining our team throughout the year as part of their training. Our independent doctors also participate in ongoing medical education in RACGP Quality Assurance activities to ensure we continue to provide a high standard of care.

Our Independent Contractors are supported by our experienced practice nurse and friendly reception team, who are here to make your experience with us as comfortable and welcoming as possible.

Bulk Billing and Fee Structure

A private fee is applied to all patients for the first consultation of the calendar year, except for children under 16.

Bulk Billing is available for eligible patients for subsequent consultations for the remainder of the year.

When Private Fees Apply

  • First consultation of each calendar year for patients aged 16 and over

  • Patients who have not attended the practice in person for more than 12 months

  • Insurance examinations, Workers Compensation matters, medical reports, and third-party consultations

  • Home visits and after-hours consultations

  • Missed appointments and cancellations with less than 4 hours' notice

  • Other services where a private fee applies

Private fees for reports and certificates vary according to their complexity. Home visits and after-hours services are charged at AMA rates.

Questions About Fees

Consultation fees are displayed at reception. Your doctor will discuss any additional costs associated with treatment, investigations, referrals or procedures before they are undertaken.

Please speak with our reception team if you have any questions or concerns about fees. If you are unable to pay a private fee at the time of your appointment, payment arrangements can be discussed with our staff.

Please note that fees are determined by individual doctors, who operate as independent contractors, and may vary between doctors.
